The flag has been raised

Captain’s (b)log, earth-date 29032009: Flag Lima has been raised, signaling the start of a new epic adventure. The site will soon start on this grand journey, to boldly go where millions have gone before. The mission is simple; To take over the Internet as we know it.
Net-domination, how many dream of accomplishing something as grand? The vessel for this voyage is named Flag Lima, simply put because the Flag “Lima” signals “You should stop, I have something important to communicate”. Kinda geeky, eh? Every surfer out there will look upon the flag and know they should pay attention.
And why should they stop? Frankly, I have no idea. (Note to self: Give surfers a reason to stop by.) I’ve decided to do this journey in English. It seems a bit easier for net-domination if I use one of the most common languages. At the same time I may improve my crappy English. Win-win situation. If When the goal is achieved I’ll consider forcing everyone to convert to Norwegian.
I’ve done a quick site-inspection. Not much to look at, but I’m excited about the prospect of what all the empty space will be filled with. The first step of the journey is getting the sites bridge up and running. I will need to decode the cryptic language of xhtml and CSS to do this. The task does not seem to be a hard one. For now I have taken refuge in a wordpress-design, but stay with me and you’ll (hopefully) see a fresh new design built from scratch.
Secondly I’ll need a crew. Who will want to join me on this journey to net-domination? It will surely be a dangerous journey, facing of trolls, flamers and all the Internets “negatrons”. I must focus on being an “optimist prime”, fearlessly taking on any challenge that may come in the way. I have some people in mind, some people I know want to take over all that is. If I get them aboard it may be easier, and if when the goal is achieved I’ll turn them into my minions, serving me coffee. This clearly feels like a fun ride, so I hope people join me.
This will be epic. Let’s make sure the Internet never forgets the name of the www FlagLima!
